pokemongodaily.com

Woah. That much visitors for just hours from launch... You hit the jackpot man. :)

If Nintendo goes after you, just trade them the domain for a PokemonGo Mewtwo.

As a ton of members have said already, it is a trademarked domain and can be snatched up from you easily. The Pokemon Go TM is being violated everywere and it won't be much time before the Niantic legal department takes notice.

And secondly, it is a three word domain (with two of them being brand names) - not much to gain there.

There are several other domains available with the same parameters. Here are 20 something available domains -

PokemongoWave.com
CrazyPokemongo.com
PokemongoFix.com
AlphaPokemongo.com
InstantPokemongo.com
DirectPokemongo.com
PokemongoKey.com
PokemongoPartners.com
ClickPokemongo.com
GeoPokemongo.com
GreatPokemongo.com
PokemongoMax.com
PokemongoProject.com
PokemongoSystem.com
RapidPokemongo.com
AquaPokemongo.com
EpicPokemongo.com
PokemongoCircle.com
SpotPokemongo.com
TurboPokemongo.com
PokemongoNext.com

I also guess i should get in contact with them. i used to work with were always handling stuff...

I want to learn more about that trademark. So we cannot use "PokemonGo" in a domain. Does the rule apply with the word "Pokemon"? Can I register something like "pokemontraining.com"?

Thanks everyone for their suggestions/advices...

Listed on Flippa:

Operates on two domains:
pokemongodaily.com and pkmgdaily.com + pkmgear.com - working on affiliate, should be finished till tomorrow night.

Devices:

Spent on traffic:
0$

Now, i was thinking about mobile app but website is fully monetized for mobile anyway.
Affiliate thing may come in handy since 69% of traffic comes from USA.
Could someone suggest me idea of monetization, that is not ogads or something similar, i would like some idea of community, active interaction between players, something self-sustaining.
I mean, i could easely make a dropshipping/aliexpress version of it, make giveaway, set shipping prices, and profit from all, but that goes against Nintendo and general motivation behind building this website, so affiliate thing will hit when site gets about 5k daily, and that should work out.
So, i'm looking for monetization, and ideas for something more community oriented.
Anyway, i posted it on Flippa because there may be and probably is someone with better ideas, as for building something out of it, or monetize from it.

Copyrights and Trademarks are country dependent. In the UK both Pokemon Go and Pokemon are trademarks. I know in China their copyright laws and systems are very complex and often some companies will only hold a trademark for a particular name under a particular type of object. So the Chinese one is very specific while the UK (and I would assume America) are quite broad.

ive been telling blackhats to file for TM in china for ages. you can even file western TMs as long as the fucking idiot didnt register it in time himself. which they usually do not. the only caveat is you must stick to .cn domain names

Nintendo doesn't approve use of their logo.
With use of "Pokemon Go" / "Pokemon" in domain, or anywhere else, Nintendo do allow use of their assets as fan sites.
So, i can't see myself having problem, and many others sites are online still.
I know a guy who consulted lawyers and contacted Nintendo support, so feel free to do the same.

trademarked words lmao, what has this world become to,nobody should be able to own words more then others..fucking psychopaths

My personal advice for you to not to use that domain because POKEMON has their trademark and copyrights. I think It will be a bit mess later once you build up your website! Sell it as soon as possible you can! or else use like this "P0kem0nGo"

This site is getting 15000 visitors a day, it's grown enough already... As i mentioned before, one guy contacted Niantic about his own Pokemon Go website, they told him that they don't have a problem with that, as long he is not using their logo on his homepage. Anyway, thank you...

Nope... I was just looking to flip it from the start... But i think someone could make a decent money with this kind of traffic.
Anyway, auction went unsold, i guess the $20k guy wasn't serious... I had few BIN offers, so buyers are contacted.

someone has cloned this site btw. i think because your news is not fast enough. so people can clone your posts without penalties

Nice domain, better use it fast as some said build a community site with it
