Think for a second, if millions of people are busy catching Pokémons outside then they will not be spending their time on PCs or mobile phones, they'll be clicking less ads and we'll be getting no eyeballs on our ads.

Millions of people getting hours of exercise means they'll not be needing our weight loss pills and weight loss guides, we'll be making much less money.

Someone should stop it. What's your plan?

Not everyone is pokemon-go crazy. So relax and find a way to monetize pokemon!
 
Pokemon GO is definitely hot right now, but it's believed to be a hype right now. We can't say for sure what to expect from it and what it means for IM, but with every change comes some opportunity as well, let's see if it stays a hype or becomes something that sticks:)

If they are playing pokemon or in future similar game or app they are using mobile means we will get more mobile traffic... less ads means switch to cpa and direct approach easy as that...
 
Thats bullshit, not all people with internet or smartphones are catching pokeballs. Thats what you are reading constantly on the media. But in statistics there wont be a havoc of it.
Also, if it is so worrying to you, dont fight the flow, just evolve.
 
I will never understand grown people mentally obsessed with that stupid game pokemon.Dumb creatures that keeping saying their name over and over again.Let that game die in pieces.
 
Pokemon Go it's a trend, it generates a big amount of traffic (eg it is in the top downloads of The Pirate Bay).
The good marketers don't fight against trends, they take profit of them.
Are you a good marketer or not? Your actions will answer that question.
 
Stop whinning and try to make bucks out of it. PokemonGo is hot right now and you can monetize it.
 
lol stop thinking about the future man, smart marketers make money at the opportunity in hand.
