So pointofmail allows you to send emails and track which ones open it and read it etc.

But I was sending some test emails to my email accounts
and when I go in to click on it, it says "show hidden images"
and it won't show up as "Read" when I click on the actual
email. I found it only counts it as read when you click "To
protect your privacy, remote images are blocked in this
message. Display Images" or whatever. After that it will
    show it as read

    WTH?!

Anyone know how to fix this or remove it.
I'm trying out the trial and if this is how it'll be,
you can bet I won't pay for their service. Any
help on how to fix that will be greatly appreciated with some rep :D

    Thanks

That will be the same with any email system. They track opens with a remote image. By default almost all email clients and web based systems block remote images. i would focus more on their deliverability. In email marketing you just have to live with the fact that your open rate is not the "true" open rate due to this issue.

    Hope that helps.
