Pointers to identify why my inner page suddenly dropped from SERPs

I guess this happened last week during the time google rolled out series of updates.

One of my website inner page which was on 5th page of google , suddenly disappeared to be at NTH.
Since than, I thought may be it was because of 5-7 affiliate links that my page got disappeared, so I removed 5 affiliate links,
the ranking havent came back yet,so I wanted you guys to be may give me few POINTERS so I might recover my ranking back if possible

All other pages are fine, and the site is not penalized and is still ranking on other terms,its just this 1 page

i would appreciate any help

What do you mean by disappeared? Deindexed or just dropped?
 
Yeah just point a few links to it and it will be back or could be Google dance and you may acquire spot again.

One of my pages dropped too after the 23rd Jan update. My best guess is that some of my backlinks pointing to that page caused the drop. I have disavowed the links and will see it it will come back in a couple of weeks. If not, I'll move the content to a new page and rank it again. I've done it in the past and it works like a charm.
 
It can be just google stupid dance I have some keywords for some inner pages all time dance from 22 to 70-80 and then stops on 20 and so... look at my pic... its same sh*t if you didn't touch it would get back... how long it was out of serps ?

I too thought that it was google dance because my other pages were dancing too. By now they all came back to where they where before, some even better except this one. Moreover, instead of ranking the page that dropped, google ranks another page that is on similar topic. This makes me think that this is some kind of algorithmic penalty. Usually penguin related penalty are issued on page by page basis, quality are site-wide.
 
To add to my previous post, if the page rank drop is related to backlinks, you might also look at your anchor text ratio of the links pointing to that page.

its been about a week since i saw the page disappeared
I am now writing new content to rank for the same keyword

Vary the text and keywords in your anchor text links and spread them over article directories, blog comments, links from other blogs, etc.
