POD issue, high EU % abandoning checkout.

I have recently set up a new POD store, the niche is good and the conversion rates are high. Although I seem to be getting around a 1 conversion to 3 abandon checkout ratio (Is this normal), this is before email marketing etc, but it just bothers me that they put in all their details and not buy. The t-shirts are $30 each, and it seems to be a vast majority of EU abandoning cart. Do I not have the right payment methods set up, is the price too high. If anyone has ideas please let me know.

And also to add the shipping is free for EU (Except for weird islands).
