I was thinking to start a POD business as a side hustle

1. Having no experience and budget at all in building a website, is it a great idea to start with Teespring? Then maybe in the near future move to an appropriate website?

2. I wanted to analyze other brands but I can't really find any doing my way. How do I find competition? Do you have any advice?

Thanks in advance

If you are a beginner start with Merch by Amazon you will get a lot of free traffic .

Basically, it depends on how you plan to sell your stuff and in what country do you live. There is no equality here.

1. Teespring isn't great if you have no budget for ads or no source of free traffic. At least, you must consider growing social media profiles. Moving to your own website store running a printful+etsy can be complicated and expensive if you are not from t1 country.

2. Search brands and ideas on IG, Pinterest, Etsy, and Amazon.

3. Apply to Amazon Merch.

4. Check my journey Road to 1k POD designs. I described an upload-and-forget method and some tips. Already earning without paid ads, social media, websites, amazon merch and so on.

You´re pretty much answering your own question here.

If you don´t have any experience nor budget to run an online store powered with Shopify + Any POD app like printfull (you need to fulfill de orders) then yeah, you pretty much don´t have many options but to enter POD using a platform like Teespring, Redbubble or Teechip.

You pretty much all you need is to upload the design and do the marketing, they take care of the rest (you don´t have to fulfill any orders.

What do you mean by brans? Like Teespring alternatives?

Use Pinterest so you can see what is trending and perhaps give it a twist for your niche

My main plan is to actually grow social medias profiles, that's why I was considering Teespring, also I have myself some ways to gain free traffic.
Anyway, I'm considering to aim for t1 traffic rather than traffic from my country.

No, I literally mean other brands doing POD. I found one on Instagram doing t-shirts similiar to what was my idea, but however, I seriously have no idea on how to find competition. :D

Go for it.

I mean, it doesn't matter what countries you target, there are some limitations on business opportunities if you live in a not that good place.

Well, for now just go with Teespring. Pretty safe and easy bet.
