You have been told how to catch somebody's attention by tagging them in a post. The user gets a notification alerting them to your post.
I disagree with PMs not being a privilege, it is a privilege to be allowed membership to any forum. You seem to have some sort of sense of entitlement though.
They are not going to change the rules just because you are complaining about them!!!!

You had no business posting in a sales thread to "help" someone as the one that paid to open that thread is the one that is the one that answers the questions related to what he is selling.
In fact it is breaking the rules if you respond as you did in the sales thread but I let you slide and just deleted the post as opposed to giving you warning points.

Let the seller interact with him as he paid for the opportunity to interact with those looking to buy his service.

This is all you have to do:
- Get to 15 posts to unlock the "Start a Conversation" button.
- Don't spam the forum to get to 15 posts.
