HI, first time I have posted anything like this so if it is in the wrong place please remove.
I have been doing affiliate marketing for coming up to 15 years, mainly adult, but have tried other things.
I have always done a bit of spam, back in the day it was very affective, I still do sometimes but only useing Kik app mainly if I do & nevr once had any problems.
2 days ago I got got a letter from my ISP company warning me that a third party as contacted them & said suspicious traffic is coming from my internet connection.
It didnt say who the third party was.
They told me to install antivirus etc blah blah as I may have a device affected with maleware but I know thats not the case as I run through Lan & not Wifi & my computer is %100 clean.
The only thing I have done diffrent in the last couple of months is the Reddit + Twitter method. I can not see Twitter reporting me to my ISP as used that for years. I have been reported to an affiliate network a few years ago for spam off POF but the founder is known for that.
I also did some Dropshipping on Reddit + Twitter with clickbank a few weeks ago.
All my other traffic is organic via social media & my blog so the only Third party I could think that as contacted my ISP is Reddit as it is a very big company & I know they are strict.
I just thought I would put this here as I see a lot of people are using the same method.
This method is very good if used right but the people that are doing it please use a very good VPN so this does not happen to you. I can not be %100 sure that it is Reddit but first time in 15 years I have used it & then I get a letter.
The letter also said if it keeps happenng that it could lead them to suspend or cancel my account.
My ISP is Virgin Media.
