Hi, :captain:

i have the following issues:

i am using the following template

. i am using it for my company. well u can say its a company. lolz.

now this theme i really love because its blend of blog and regular web template. now my partners said that pro side does not use adsense in their site. so i agree but i want to put adsense on our blog section. u can see a page named blog (actually its not a page, blog is a category)

So i need help to put adv. in each blogs post (3 per page) and want to add a sidebar that will only appear in blog so that i can put adv. on sidebar.

Its been awhile since I used WP but this might get you started.
Im going to guess that if you select the 'widget' section inside your admin panel you can select to put a widget in just teh blog section? If so just add a text blog and paste the adsense ad you want to put in.

Also google only allows 3 ads per page. So you cant have 3 ads in the first 3 posts and a skyscraper ad.
 
Plain coding is better in this case.

Just add a condition in template, before you insert adsense. Say, if this post belongs to category, load adsense block in post, and load a different sidebar which contain adsense block.

You need to edit the code of theme. If you are not familiar with that you'd better ask someone else to do it.

Now, this encode stuffs r pulling my hair almost. i am getting bold these days. lolz. significantly my page impression rate drop way too low in last few days. i m guessing its because of this eval coding two of my sites footer. when i try to replace it the sites structure changed. now i am really worried. plz help. i spend significant amount of time to make my blog go up although they r auto blog. plz help on below issues.

i really appreciate every1's efforts and help is advance. just wasted my 2 days behind this PHP encoded footer on my WP theme. i read tons of stuffs, went to sites where built in decoder is there but just could not figured it out.

I would love to learn as well. people are stating to replace eval with echo and run and run until the last eval has been removed. now, i am wondering run it on what??? :S

i pasted earlier the whole code that appeared in footer but somehow got out of the box. i found people r talking about its solutions but do not know what they meant by "run it", where to run and how !!!!

Once again, look for the base64_decode part. You'll notice he used strtr in it to make the direct decoding more difficult. Its useless really, because you can use the same function

yep - you can't protect php code just by using php code :p you at least need some php module to do the decoding even if its ioncube etc

copy the code in between <!-- Evil Footer Devil FOUND --> and <!-- Evil Footer Devil BEGONE --> tags and replace the code in your footer.php, i mean erase all the old codes and replace with the new codes you got in between <!-- Evil Footer Devil FOUND --> and <!-- Evil Footer Devil BEGONE --> tags.

ah, my bad, when you posted that decode up there i thought you had found your solution. the output seems to boil down to this:

which would explain why your page layout would get messed up if you just took out their code. just delete the bits from there that you dont want and use that as a replacement for their nasty eval code.

when people say to 'run' the php you were on the right track. i tend to wack the code in a foo.php file, replace any eval() to echo() and then use "php foo.php" from the command line.

then paste that ouput back in the foo.php and go again. in their case they were using __FILE__ and __LINE__ to workout how to read the current file and where in that file the chuff at the bottom was - which was outside of php tags - so they could read it in and eval it - several times in fact :p

Much appreciated bro. i do not know how i missed it. since no one was helping me to decode the eval, i left my blog with it. beside that just moved to a new province. things r not going right and stuffs so was busy with those things. i am working night shift to get paid my bills until i found my pro job again. thats one of the reason for being late reply. i will look through and will give u feedback. thanks bro.

run what means here. i mean which software or php scripter i should use to do this trial and error method. i have 4-5 other eval command blogs and need to change those. thanks in advance. :)
