why somebody need to play for SEO or even for PPC when he can just use affiliate army for his product\s?

Humm if you got affiliate army then you can try... You will need people who can promote, product which created enough buzz that people want to promote it.

Anyway even if you have affiliate's promoting your site, you could do SEO and PPC so you earn more. Who wants to get limited, why not make more. Ebay or Amazon got affiliates even then they do SEO and PPC to make more.

Yeah, and getting an army of affiliates is not a guarantee either. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much you do or spend, you may never get even one affiliate to ever promote your product. There are plenty of products even on product that were compete failures.

Also, your super affiliates will generally account for over 80% of affiliate sales and one way to get them on board is by promoting for them. There are other methods of course and paying out a ton of commissions is always helpful but not the solution to getting affiliates.

PPC and SEO do work and are implemented my marketers at the highest level.
