i want to optimize my website and among the highest traffic keywords I have singular and plural ones like "stock photos" and "stock photo". Both are important and have high traffic.

    1) Do I have to optimize both or doing the plural one "Stock Photos" I'll get "Stock Photo" automatically?

The same applies for stock images and stock image.

    2) On the title tag should I use both keywords (stock photos and stock photo) or it can be considered spamming?

    I'd appreciated anyone's help.

    Cheers.

My opinion is to optimize for both, you should not be penalized for spamming and could set your title tag like below.

Stock Photos | Get a Stock Photo Now (or whatever makes sense)

This will allow you to get both keywords in your title tag and near the front so they will be seen in the serp title description.

    Good luck

    Agreed.

Although I don't think it matters too much as if you search for a keyword it will return results with the plural highlighted and via versa.

That being said I follow blackhataffiliate's method as well.

plurals are more enough on content pages and meta tags.

for example, when people search for cars the pages with word car too shows up.

My rule of thumb is if the singular is a high-competition keyword, I will optimize for it specifically. It may not help too much, but it gives me peace of mind ;-).

That being said, for low-competition keywords, I just go with the plural and get ranked for both.

I tend to create one page for stock photo and one for stock photos.

If it's a low competition term you can usually rank for both with some good quality backlinks.
