I want to know what is the meaning of meta description, meta keywords, canonical URL's and H1, H2 tags...

I want to know what are the benefits of using them and how & where should I use them....
I have read many articles about them, but don't know how to use it..

Read some newbies SEO guides and you will definitely learn what those are about...

H tags are what i belive headlines.

<H1>text</H1>

meta description is a description of the page for searchengines

<META NAME="Description" CONTENT="Your descriptive sentence or two goes here.">

meta keywords is the same thinking but keywords for the site, so spiders and crawlers have easier to find them.

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="your keywords,go here,separated by a comma,but not a space">

A basic html site looks like this

<HEAD>
<TITLE>your DESCRIPTIVE KEYWORDS title goes here</TITLE>
<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="Your keyword rich marketing sales-pitch meta description goes here">
<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="your keywords,go here,separated by a comma,but not a space">
</HEAD>

H1,2,3,4 tags are used when producing texts on the site

I don't make websites. I provide backlinks and social promotion. So don't have any idea about these words.
