Pligg/Scuttle List Scrubber?

Can anyone tell me if there is some software that will scrubb a list of Pligg/Scuttle sites?

There are lots of these list in Txt format, but as you go through them you find lots of invalid files and I'm thinking it doesn't make sense to load the dead ones up into software such as Bookmarking Demon.
