Plesk hosting vs cPanel hosting

I haven't used Plesk hosting before so I can't comment one way or another on that. But I use cPanel hosting a lot. cPanel is great and I'd definitely recommend it. Using cPanel, you can point and click your way to all you need to do for your domains, emails, and sites. You can add or remove your domains, create or remove your email addresses, handle email aliases, and so much more. You don't need to use FTP to upload your site files since cPanel has a built in file manager. Actually in 2022 you should never be with a host that requires you do do FTP for lack of a file manager.
I don't know any disadvantages of cPanel - I haven't come across any, at least. It's basically a closed-source GUI wrapper for open source server management.

i used cpanel a long time, but like plesk more now. for what i have, it is not as feature rich but the ui is cleaner and some things are just way better thought through. for most things i do not have to leave it. offsite backups are integrated, just connect ftp. wordpress plugin install and updates are integrated, set your custom install packages which auto install for a new hosting, etc..
maybe cpanel has these features as well but when i used it, it didn't

Plesk used to be good.. but.. was acquired by British Oakley Capital Limited aka cPanel.
We are cPanel NOC distributors and although using cPanel for our shared hosting + the free cpanel licenses we offer for some of our unmanaged VPS's we prefer DirectAdmin or Webuzo Panel for single users.
You can't compare $2/mo with cPanel's 15$ for single user for the same or better features.
Of course if your hosting machine is Windows based then Plesk is #1

I've had a good experience with hostnamaste.com hosting and plesk control panel. It's easy to manage.

I think that control panel itself is a kind of user interface and that does not influence or affect connection speed or support response time or service performance. That is a matter of habit. If you are used to Cpanel you prioritize Cpanel hosts, and vice versa.
But Cpanel increased their prices so that make potential users more money conscious.

cPanel gives 10/10 at Plesk, Plesk is shit don't compare Plesk with cPanel.. Is different things, and you are comparing one "advanced" to other.
The best alternative currently is DirectAdmin, is much more powerful and doing great updates.

I don't know Plesk but Cpanel is really good, a lot of people has been using it for a decade now so
If you can find managed Plesk, somewhere, it could be great, but I had a season where I tried to manage it, myself, both for my projects, and my client projects, and after jacking with it for about a year, it just became too cumbersome to deal with.

cPanel is tried-and-true, but the client level management portal is WHM, so you're kind-of comparing two things that aren't quite the same.
If I were you, I'd just find two highly reputed services that are MANAGED.
Test each of them for a month, and then go from there.
I will say that I don't like WHM very much, but it depends on how well your service manages it, and offers support for it.
Plesk has some higher quality features, but it has to be configured properly, and there are a bunch of marketplace extras that make it progressively more expensive, so if you can find a good managed service, then maybe it'll be better than my experience.
Actually, I don't even use Wordpress anymore, except for a couple old projects.
I only use https://bootstrapstudio.io/ and https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/ivans-tumblr-blog-theme-for-seo-and-pbns.1370329/#post-14840537, now, and it's a much better life!

Hey, so I have tested both.
cPanel has a lot of options it’s very friendly for people who do not have a lot of knowledge.
Plesk is also good, but I would use cPanel because it has more options, but for starter Plesk is completely fine, that’s my opinion.

As a personal opinion i would go with plesk.
Way faster and less ressource conssuming than cpanel.

Cpanel is more user friendly rich with options and fast where as plesk is cheap and light on your hard drive.
