Yes I like it. Thx! So we will develop a free backlink software and we will put some ads into it, and then share that software in the SEO/Black hat/IM forums etc. I got it, right? Or I got you wrong?

Yeah, that's a great idea. You could also consider adding a "Donate to us" button to your product's main website. Free good software will always have thankful users who donate to support you. Another plus is that if the software is free but as good as the competition, it will spread around the world very fast and there is a chance your product will become popular.

Okay then we are starting to develop a free profile backlink software now (it'll have multi-threading, proxies etc. features also, and it is a unique forum platform) and we will put some ads and affiliate links and donate button into it. Thank you man. Hopefully we will complete this project in 3 days and share that tool on this forum first.

You should make a c sharp program that allows you make free web hosting accounts. Like sign up and all. Then install a cms on the newly made free server. Then add spun content into the databases. Pretty much make a quick web site maker. You should make it so you enter in lets say 1 article to be spun, lists of urls that you want the site to be made on. Oh yeah f course youll need a keyword list too. That would be super awesome. So its makes websites and generators content for the web sites all by itself.

Are you serious? 3 days? That's too short in my opinion to create a decent tool. Take your time, do some clean coding, test test test and then release it

I agree, good stuff takes time, if everything was that quick my girlfriend would had already left me. (a sarcastic dick joke)

I am not sure if people are going to give you ideas. Unique ideas are the hard part and once someone has one they might just
hire a coder and develop it. Not give it out

Wrong, ideas are nothing, execution is everything.

Ideas = 50%. Execution 50%. Both are important.

If you have been developing software for as long as I have, you'll realize that ideas = 10%, execution = 90%

If you're doing it right (agile) the idea and execution stages are just a blur

SEO Recovery Tool Kit

For those who get an ULN from Google a penalty or just what to clean a bad link profile before one turns up
Put in links in from list from either Google WMT or somewhere like Majestic.

It sorts out SWL (or high frequency links) then fetches PR and aite age. Sites older than (x) months with 0 or N/A PR are sorted next. plus the anchor text of the link (fetched from the hosting site) and the URL the link is pointing to on the users site
Then it fetches WHOIS details for the sites

Allows users to review the list and see the metrics fetched. Makes basic recs on stuff like too many links, no value, too high concentration of anchor text, number of links pointing to a specific URL.

User can tick box "removal request" or "leave"

Finally, you add an email address (hotmail or Gmail or whatever) and it mail merges a letter the user writes with the links they want removing and sends it to the emails recording which ones are replied to.
The last part can be repeated as often as is required with the user able to remove those from the mailing list who have either removed the links or are uncontactable.

Not rocket science. Mostly follow the link and grab the data stuff, but frikking useful.
You could set up an agency selling link clean up service for $300+ a go - and this tool would do 80% of the donkey work for you.

idea %5, execution 5%, marketing 90%

On a website with 1 million daily visitor, I can sell some semi-crappy software and (after tons of refunds) still make good $$$.

On a website with 3 daily visitors and the most amazing software, I am going to make $25 a month

Just saying

"Most amazing software" won't get only 3 daily visitors, for example if you create a free edition of that software, and share that free edition on a few popular forums, you will get millions of visitors maybe, and thousands of sales..!

I think you should start by asking yourself (and possibly your programmers) if you guys want to try and make something that is actually useful to somebody, or some stupid crap that might possibly go viral or at least popular but provides no real value.

While the first category is outside the scope of my knowledge (i'm no good with tech stuff and software), the other area is something I have more experience with and could offer an idea or two for you to consider
