I have been on BHW for many years as a guest and have come to benefit a lot of knowledge here. I remember the years the download archive was still up, i was a frequent user and i downloaded alot. I even got some pictures that i then had to sell on fiverr which made me more than $400 within many months though.

Well now it seems i'm rock bottom, i've always been rock bottom but not that i'm dull, far from it. My problem has been making a decision to improve my financial life and sticking with it. I see cpa and i get lighted up, i see fiverr and it's all i'll be doing the next moment, i see some other opportunity i jump at it. The thought of constantly going broke and managing on what i got is always on my mind, that i just jump at any opportunity i see thinking thats my eldorado. I just figured out lately that i am a narcissist and i hate it. I say i may know what i'm doing but no one has told me i don't really know, or am i just shortchanging myself?

I know how to build websites, i know wordpress in and out albeit 90%, i've dabbled into social media and into management, i'm quite good in graphic designs - ecovers and stuff, i have about 8 domain names now, and an hosting that can take more than 15 websites at once, but i'm not getting enough from all these things i know and got. I've spent years online but could online say i've made about $5,000 since 2009 till date and virtually spent all in my upkeep and life. Please don't mind my narcissist self, i think with what i know i should be banking that amount monthly.

But things bring me down and i bring myself up telling myself that many people don't have the opportunity i have had so i need to man up, but the harder i try the more i keep drawing back to the goal and i end up chasing another opportunity yet again.

I have a problem and i need someone to help me straighten it out, someone should talk something serious to me, give me a direction please.
I know there are many matured minds here, please don't troll on me, i need sincere advice.

    You lack focus OP.

I used to be like you. I chased every shiny object thrown at me under the sun. I was a part of the WF, and they just prey on people like that.

You know what made me stop doing that?

    I wised up.

I was (and still am) on a lot of "guru" lists. Whenever I get an email from them I open it and study it. They basically just rehash the same shit over and over and over and over again. And people keep buying their products, hoping for a magic button that they can push that makes them hundreds of dollars in 5 seconds.

Some of those people don't know any better. And some of those people are just lazy as hell. They just want everything done for them so they won't have to do any work whatsoever. They want a push-button solution for their money problems.

    But there isn't one.

So what makes people keep hopping from one product to the next?

You have a fear of success. You're afraid to succeed. You have all these skills but you aren't using them. But the shiny objects you buy give you hope. They make you feel good. They make you feel like you're trying, but you're not.

    You're failing.

See if you keep throwing money at opportunities that you half-ass work on then quit, that tells me right there you don't want to succeed. What you need to do is throw money at a solid plan that you've come up with that you can constantly work on.

There is nothing wrong with making money off of Fiverr. And for the record I started out as a content writer. But you should take that money and invest it into a long-term plan. IM is a business, not a one-off solution to your money problems. There is no easy, magic way to make money online. It all requires work. It gets easier as time goes on, but it still requires WORK.

Stop being lazy. Focus. Sit your ass down, write down a plan and execute it. Please don't ask where you should start. You already know. If you've got that many skills you can come up with a plan on your own.

    Then get to work.

i was the same when i started 6 years ago, fell for every hyped up sales page, believed the photoshopped proof of earnings images etc, then gradually i found out this stuff just doesn't work, effort does. i still get emails everyday trying to sell me the next big thing. Set yourself a easy to reach goal, then move on to the next one and so forth. Easy goal setting will give you a feeling of achievement each time, so spurring you on to the next level. There is no magic wealth creation button, only hard work. I would guess most people on here have been and bought stuff like that in their early days

you are still looking for others (stranger on the net no less) to lift you up rather than taking resposibility for it yourself. There is your problem.

I think you've nailed it. OP is keeping himself busy as an excuse to not doing the tedious parts of the work (and thus fails to produce results) BUT not by slacking, by keeping himself busy with other things, thereby validating himself ("I work hard"). Ans since by means of fact, it is not work that he fears, he fears failure. OP needs to give himself permission to fail and permission to succeed.

    I blog for a living.
Look into building daily habbit routines and start with something simple you can do every day to start your habbit routine. Look up steve scott, he has a few cheap books out there. Find an accountability partner and a mastermind group to keep you on track. Look closer at the stories of successful people. They all tell you "focus on one thing, dont waste time jumping around".

Really good post op. Been there, bought some stuff, read some stuff, did little and made little.

Some really good advice here. Focus is the key. I took some time away and thought about what I was good at and talked things over with friends and colleagues at my then workplace. I made some big decisions (go hard or go home) and now I'm steadily progressing. I don't hop from project to project but I'm still interested in the new and shiny objects - I just take a note and only start something new when I fell that my current task is either complete or needs a rest.

OP build a business and then bring customers (or traffic) using the innumerable "methods" out there.

Sell t-shirts then work on getting people that like tshirts to your site. Use any method.

    Mindset is everything.

There's no need to worry. No need to be depressed. No need to micromanage, overdo, overthink or overanalyze anything. You need to tweak your mind like a radio. Most people are stuck somewhere in between channels with tons of distortion and noise coming through. But when you tweak your brain to center, you gain all the control you'll ever need.

It's when you can see that uncluttered, uncompromised center of clarity & content. It's hard to put into words. But everything becomes easy. Every decision you make is the "right" decision.

The more you feel you need, the less you feel you have. The less you want to work for or towards a goal cause the farther that goal seems.

IM isn't hard. All you need to do is find a product and promote it. Go find a CB product right now. Do diligent keyword research. Make a YT video then upload it. Throw some GSA links at it. Then do another on and on. Start a personal site for something you're great at and monetize it. No matter what you do sell sell sell promote promote promote.

Do it because you want to. Because it's fun. Not cause you're needy. Not out of desperation.

This was how I started IM. My brain went through the typical stages. Anger. Denial. Procrastination. Analysis paralysis. Always thinking of what I should have done yesterday or tomorrow. But never just focusing on NOW. Something happened real quick where my mind "snapped" out of all the noise and bullshit. Where I realized nothing mattered but right now. So I just sat down with that clear, confident mindset and worked for months. I almost felt immortal. I didn't care where the work brought me. I didn't care where my life wound up. I just treated it like a fun game that I really liked.

That's all you have to do. Product + targeted traffic = money. If you're unable to do that, you're not trying. In the end you have no excuse to fail. If you think I'm wrong and that you do have an excuse to fail, you'll keep "failing" and finding more reasons to fail.

MINDSET. Get it right. Quit the bullshit and fucking do something. :)
