I'll tell you your even bigger mistake. Once you're accepted into YPP the ads will be automatically showing, it doesn't matter whether your Adsense is PIN verified or not.

So the ads are not showing because something else. That is... you MUST enable each video monetization status after being approved into YPP. Because it is not enabled per default.

Now, you migh want to slap your own face for real this time.
