Please share your SEO experience working with sites build with react.js

i want to learn about the best approach to work with a react.js site from someone who did it before, what are the biggest challenge, what to avoid, how to work with the dev teams, or whatever advice you want to share with me.
I have the opportunity to work with a react.js site but this will be my first time, i don't even know javascript so i'll have a lot of oportunities to screw something.

already read in blogs about the challenges and have a general idea about the workaround, but still feel insecure.

Also, it will help me to have an idea of how much to charge for a work like this. SEO as everything else in my country is very poor paid, but maybe if i do this and deliver a good result, i can think about doing it for other markets.

If you cand point me to useful literature it will be very helpful to me.

react js will help your site to load faster,as it just re renderes only the content not whole page .
