No
Check the anchor cloud and backlinks growth graphic

OP contact mods/edit your original post... you left the full URL in.

BUT OP, the site is crap. Got a whole load of spam on it with exact match anchors. I would register it for 8.99 fee at a push...

What was the ranks like?

EDIT: https://www.semrush.com/info/theindianfeed.com

never ranked for any keyword.

The Edu domains are second, third tier and there are zero no/follow links ( which looks strange )

Most of the links come from a wordpress exploit. The site owners haven't restricted you from uploading PHP files as images o_O

so edu and gov wont help to get me my juice :p , my seller has lowered price seems fishy to myself now :D

The domains of the EDU links hint to profiles, no real editorial EDU links. Even if we assume real .EDU links, the most used anchors show that there are loads of spammy links with gross anchor overoptimization. The RD also looks unnaturally high compared to the low UR/DR, a site with a 500 RD isn't 7/24 if the links are quality links. The site was obviously already repurposed once for some ghostwriting site, probably penalized because of the anchor overoptimization and then dropped. I wouldn't take a domain like this for free, wasted money.

Clear from the anchors that this simply isn't clean. If it were, then yeah, $150 would be a decent price if it's a top TLD domain, which I kinda don't believe it is based on the backlinks.

If this were clean, .com, kinda brandable, then it would go for FAR more than $150 at auctions.

Sorry what is the DR? How do you check it? And which is a good number for it

DR is a metric from Ahrefs, it is pointless I wouldn't worry about it. It is an arbitrary method of judging how powerful a site is.

I have always heard that edu domains are good in google's eyes
