All good and well for SMS, but what about getting real calls? Is there a cheap way to get international phone numbers for receiving calls?

Almost all of the websites do this. It is a tactic to make people add money in.
I would personally stay away from this sort of websites in general.

I've used SMS-Man for 2 years, the best for me. They have almost every country and service, the big point is if you don't receive the code, they don't charge you

the problem of not getting the code verification can not be different , sometimes the Ip adresse , ip spam score , the operator of the card will block the sms bcs the ip does not match the country code of the card . So there are many different reasons why this can be happend.
