I'm newbie on cryptocurrency and I bought $50 worth of bitcoin as test in paxful.

and I was going to make some $40 payment using bitcoin but I can only send $30 since paxful charging $20 for the fee.

is this normal?

is there any good & cheaper fee wallet site that you can recommend.

Binnance And Coinbase Always Secure And Safe But The Network Fees Almost Same On Every Wallet Provider.

They all charge a bit to buy or sell BTC, that's just the common exchange rate. In terms of ease by which you can just send or receive Bitcoin (without exchange or purchase), you can try Blockchain com. They don't ID verify to create your account, so you can have an online wallet to receive BTC in minutes with that site. From the PC, you can have a desktop wallet just as quickly by downloading and installing Electrum or Exodus.

There are tons of BTC wallets, for payments we are using CoinPayments.net (support multiple crypto coins including BTC) .

Exodus is #1 in my opinion (and not only)

Keep on mind that the transaction fees currently are high and if the wallet you are using is set to "prioritized confirmations" then you will be paying premium.. is not like the wallet company is making any profit from that transaction fee (most online wallets + crypto exchanges charge between 0.0003btc and 0.0006btc because they are looking for faster confirmations and less unhappy customers.. technically you can blame miners for the network fees :D )
With Blockchain.com you can set the transaction fees manually.. still..if you set really low transaction price you risk your transaction to "stuck" in the blockchain for days (even weeks).

For C2C/ C2B and B2B I recommend using altcoins like Litecoin (0.06c$) or XRP/Doge.

The user Above said Binance & Coinbase.. the reality is that both charge premium and you can't set your transaction price.
P.S: I really don't recommend CoinBase for investing.

The best wallet is where you control your private key. I would recommend electrum wallet (you can change the transaction fee you pay) or a hardware wallet

@pakroll44 has said it, Electrum is the recommended one. Apart from the fact that you have your private keys, you can also set your own network fee.

Binance, coinbase, coinhako and guarda.
I use these four to transfer and store my coins.

Binance use flat fee of 0.5 mBTC which is currently around $30.
Definitely you paying too much % wise if transact less than $1,000 worth of BTC.

You could install Electrum that only supports BTC and set your own transaction fee.

Are there any service that has bitcoin ATM or debit card that I can pull out cash

I would suggest Binance.I do have a wallet on paxful too and i can confirm that for smaller transactions fees are 15-25$ but for larger ammounts and transactions on paxful fees are arround 5-10$.

Go for electrum. It's open source and safe. You can also manually adjust the fee.

Blockchain wallet is one of the safe one IMO. I've been using it for many years and I haven't faced any problems as of now.

Is there any inherent downside to Coinbase? I've had an account with them for years and never really looked into anything else
