It is really much better when link is coded, than all those 3w's, stars and c0m's

No. I didn't doubt your word, but if you say it's OK with Clix, then I'm down with it. Never liked obfucating in the first place, but I realized the necessity for it.

The only problem with that is that it requires the noobs to know how to click the Go Advanced button to enter the advanced editing mode, which is where the CODE button is found.

Either way works fine, but the CODE option is clearly easier.

May be it's possible to set a board that Advanced posting would be a default so people do not have make more clicks to open that advanced option? I'm lazy and never bothered to do so

in either case there is thread on how to open coded or unclickable links. there are some tools posted there which will be very handy. I use one of those constantly when visiting various forums.
