For links, I'd recommend high pr links.

Thats because I only target long tailed keywords. I dont need 1000+ words to rank for them. But my site is authority inside my niche I guess...

For me (i could be wrong) an authority site is a site that when you post something related to that particulary niche and target some related keyword for that niche it will index instantly at front page of google. I could be wrong but for me thats an authority site.

I use senukex but my point is simple. Good luck to everybody (because you will need it) to rank a decent keyword in front page with only senukex campaigns. Thats why I said it sucks comparing with others tools in the market. Even if you know how to play it, senukex alone is not enouch to rank any decent keyword. I had ranked tons of keywords last 2 years using senuke but we all know thats belongs to the past.

My point is realy simple. Some time ago senuke was AWESOME but this days there are so many tools like ultimate demon, gsa, even magic and sick submitter... you put senuke in the balance to one of them and tell me if it is still great

And guess what? they know it already thats why new senuke is coming soon

Long articles are going to be essential to be rated as an authority site by google

Not just long, but also perfect grammar

When you add in all the other stuff that google wants, then it is going to take quite a bit of work to stay ranked as an authority site - and they're the only sites that are going to be safe from google slaps (provided they don't compete with google - such as shopping, travel, etc.)

No, that's my definition of an authority site as well - another word would be "trusted"

I've done it in the past with a combo site of scraped article pages, video directory, autoblog in the forex niche - and made my living from it

If I was to do it again (site died) I'd build a LSI based site of 30 to 50 pages of ultra high quality visible articles 1,500 to 2,000 words per page + 1,000's of shorter, poorer quality, long-tail doorway pages only linked to via hidden xml sitemaps - i.e. pages not in site navigation


P.S. I believe you can still be an authority site with 30 to 50 pages, provided the niche is small enough, and you cover the niche completely with your site's content

I guess its all depends in the niche it self. For example, if your competitors have long articles (1000+ words) I can't be an authority source in that partiulary niche even if I get more pages than them because they have way more content than me.


But if your niche is small and there are justa few competitors and most of them are micro niche sites with ~10 pages you dont need to write long articles to outrank them. The same with backlinks and also keyword density. People say 3% density is way to big but i still see websites ranking with that keyword density or even more.

About grammar stuff, well as far as I can see (from experience) big g still cant do it. my shitty web 2.0 blogs with highly spun content (unreadable) still get indexed and some of them actualy rank for tons of keywords. But of course I would never risk it in my main sites....

If your site gets a human review, then you're stuffed

I frequently read that perfect grammar is important for SEO - and I think it is - but maybe presently more important in the money niches such as travel, real estate, finance, etc. (which Google watches closely) - but that eventually it will apply to all niches

I don't think visitors will tolerate bad grammar now - I hit the back button as soon as I see it, and of course Google monitors such actions and lowers the rankings of sites with high bounce rates

I no longer build trashy sites, as I think the future is in quality sites - who wants to waste their time building sites that are de-indexed on the next Google update?

i say that after 70 websites deindex by google (but they still make money on bing)
