First off, here's a little background about me, my financial/time commitments. Hopefully this may help in finding some opportunities.
  • Freshman in college, living with parents with virtually no expenses.
  • Monthly Income(paid a static amount to go to college by the military from the GI bill) of around $1200 that goes straight into savings.
  • Total capital is around $10,000. I obviously won't feel comfortable spending big chunks of this on ventures/projects, but it is there, in the scenario that it opens up some different ventures.
  • A decent bit of free time, taking around 14-16 credits per semester. The rest of my time is free.

I know that I can not sit here and expect to make money if I don't make the commitment to read through this section's threads at first, but I want to stress that I am actively browsing through these topics, while also posting this as to figure out if there are any opportunities I might not see.

Ideally, I would be ecstatic to make enough revenue to replace an entry level part time(20-30hrs, Minimum wage) job.

I appreciate your time reading this, I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Good luck, I started off freshman year in college as well. Early sophomore year I quit my part-time job since I was making enough online. Keep reading this forum and you will have plenty of methods and get your own idea's on how to do them with a twist and by no time will be making enough money to stop worrying about any part-time work for next 4 years in college. Read, learn and take 'action'.

Read this, but ignore the aggressive attitude. I wrote it on a night where there were like 10 threads asking how to make money online. It should give you an idea of ways you can make money. Of course there are many other methods, but as you'll read, it's about what you like to do or are willing to do.

Edit: Oh also, one thing I ignored in that post is Media Buys.
I don't know much about them really but it's an option since you already have some capital for testing purposes.

Here's a good starter thread:

If you can get a more specific idea of what you might be interested in by reading through some of those posts, try to find more info on the by using the search bar or by browsing the sub-forums.
If offline is more your thing, check the offline section of the thread (forum->scroll down to offline).
Hope this helps,
Good luck,

With that much money starting off I would consider tangible products with PPC.
You have enough to get brand awareness started.
