You could try using content unlocking instead. Basically, let people access one or two pages of content on your site, then make them fill out a lead gen page to "unlock" the rest of your content on your site. A lot of people will drop off, but a significant portion of them will fill out the lead form, which generally pays around $1. If you can get 10% of the people who land on your site to fill out a lead form to unlock the rest of the content, you're looking at $300 a day. There are several content unlocking specific affiliate networks you can look into to do this. Your site's probably better suited for that than AdSense, which few people really click on.
