I need a small little search application made for a desktop. Basically all I want it to have is a small little search box, and once a search is entered, it will visit/search my site and show results for the search.

Have you done this yet? If not I can prob do it for you, need website address and il take a look - if search is posted in URL, can do it easily from a bat file.
Can probably doing this with google, searching for "site:yoururl.com the thing you want to search for goes here". Is that all you're looking for, but in an application which parses the output of google?
