In my opinion a good first step is purchasing a domain name and/or hosting. Then you can use a WYSIWYG editor, or just set up a wordpress blog.

The amount of stupidness in some of the recent posts on BHW is ridiculous.
You signed up to a forum that has PLENTY of articles about making websites but yet you create this thread.
All you had to do was copy and paste EXACTLY what you wrote into Google to get your answers.
There's a difference between wanting genuine help and just asking stupid questions.
