Hello everyone on BHW, Greetings to you all, I appreciate everyone trying to help and support the community.. please I’ve been on BHW for a while now and have witnessed BHW changed some peoples life for good, I hope my story would be same, I’m writing this with big pains in my heart, I’m 30 at the moment and my life feels like a mess as I’ve tried a lot of things online.. YouTube, freelance graphic design, and a whole other Skill which I didn’t get to perfect and right now almost everyone is searching for less designer cause of the rise of AI, right now there a lot of pressure ongoing that the only thing right now to get me going is if I get something that would be able to cater for some daily need, be it an online job or task to complete, as long as it’s online and can give me like daily funds, then I can focus to building other area over time..

I’m open to anything

thanks in advance..

You're trying to escape from working a job in the real world to burying your head in the digital sand pit? If you need money, cleaners servers, and many other industry's that have a high turn over pay well for dedicated disclipline. You can suppliment your digital life, knowing you got the best of both worlds.

Most of my life, i held a job while i was doing stuff online, so i could fund ventures, and of course failures. Now i'm in a good position, and I can recommend that a simple easy paying gateway for stuff that isn't demanding you to be an expert doesn't really exist.

How many wannabies (not including the spice girls) you think there are online today? lol if there are billions of people in the world. There are at least 5 million that have the same questions as you and have it everyday, without doing anything productive in the world of work, and epxecting magic money trees to grow in their lap! lol

You been a member for a while ok? so

What digital assets do you have?
What portfolio sites do you show things on?
What are how many social media platforms do you promote your work on?
Do you have hours of easy uninterrupted dedicated time to spend planning and working digitally?
What payment gateways do you have set up, that you can take payments for work on?

Answer these questions yourself. It will tell you if you have really been prioritizing, and learning.

Even if I get something solid online that would work, I can go offline for a while to get funding, just tired of the real world as I’ve only worked as a graphic artist before in a print firm and got some client based, but after a while I lost all my client cause I relocated to another country, not in stucked.. thanks for saying the truth regardless, and thanks for taking your time to respond.. appreciate

i can understand bro, sometimes the hardest part is finding something that gives you a little stability first.

my advice: don’t try to learn 10 things at once. pick one skill or service that has real demand, start small, and improve while earning. I hope you find something solid soon. Good luck:)

I'd actually start with what you already know. Graphic design isn't dead, the market just changed. Try offering quick jobs that AI can't completely replace, like editing AI-generated designs, thumbnails, social posts, or simple branding. small jobs can keep money coming in while you build something bigger.

Please did you meant cleaning service.? Sounds cool to me, how can I quickly build and scale up a business model on that, cause I’m a real estate agent, can decide to still offer cleaning service after getting rentals for clients

Any skill you know currently? Initially was learning how to create engaging videos for social as I’d like to be in the content space myself..

Please where can I get the gigs.. fiver, upwork and a whole other platforms re dead for freelancing..

Keep going and focus on building one skill at a time. Trying too many things at once can make progress harder. Pick one area, learn it well, and stay consistent. Good luck!

I’ll be waiting for your reply myself
Hi. Since you quoted me on the other thread I'll reply here.

I saw Panther said you're cooked and I can understand it's harder for designers/frontend devs nowadays. But one thing that works for sure is cold calling, look up "bridge closer" in the journey section, maybe you get some inspiration.

Another way to find opportunities is checking the JV/HAF sections. You can see what ppl need or what they're working on, so help them and you'll get some income.

You're just lacking the motivation to earn more or regain confidence, so start with small jobs before you can take on bigger ones. Building a customer base gradually in a new country isn't easy, but everything has a starting point, so just keep going without worrying about whether you'll succeed or not.
