From 4 years I manage a warez movie site.
I started from scratch with my own domain name and worked really hard to reach the point where today I earn in the higher $XXX

Problem is, I just notices that someone registered all the other tld of my domain name (I have .com while he registered .net, .org and .info the same day) and in only 2 months he has already build a database of movies very similar to mine and he is already rranking #2 for my domain name keyword (I get the majority of my traffic from my domain name keyword, which brings about 1M users/month) and I'm really scared he can steal my position 1 and steal all my money.

PLEASE HELP what can I do in this situation to stop? I already spend $200 to hire a guy to fire a DDoS at him but didn't have much effect

It's a competition, get yourself better links and you'll always outrank him,
you have no options to make any legal options here

I know this is probably going to shock you, but I'm going to say it anyway.

Have you ever considered selling your website to him?

It’s obvious the guy has money; it’s also quite clear that he truly is interested in your niche and your income stream.

Why not just grab the bull by the horns and contact your competitor and see if he wants to buy your site?

Based on what you've shared with us, it seems that this person has really gone the distance in trying to dominate your niche—he obviously is serious.

Given what he has done so far, it’s not really that much of a stretch to assume that he would pay decent money to buy your website.

It seems that since he’s ranking well for your target keywords, and it’s only a matter of time until he takes over.

So why not exit on your own terms by opening negotiations with him and possibly exit?

I'm just throwing it out there.

Are you talking about revenue or profits in $XXX/day? If it's profits, i'll definitely put in more budget to fire DDoS at him or send a contact email to buy over all the extensions. It's now a matter of which has more budget to work with.

Ha yeah, unlucky not buying the other tld's when you started, but at least you know for your next site.
I for one couldn't afford all the tlds for each of my sites, although I'm not doing traffic in the legions of a popular warez site! :D
So don't worry, its easy to overlook. I would say start a new site, and buy the main tld's this time, and take what you already learnt, and try to make it as popular as your current.
There's really nothing you can do now. This can happen to anyone. But you're not in a position of legal power.
At least this way, you can make the best of a bad situation, and continue to keep your original site.

Also you could put a 'The original' authentic label at the top to brand-aware your clients! :D

You don't have any copyrights on what you do, you are simply copying others work and profiting from it, so EXPECT others COPY the work from you and PROFIT also.

You cannot even issue a DCMA in case he is exact copying your content, because you will be issued back and turn down your site.

Sabotage war is the only thing you can do, DDOS it's fine if you want to try to keep his servers down for a while, but many hostings have antiDDOS protections so they will monitor and block the botnet traffic and restore the site after a short while. Negative SEO is not that effective nowadays.

So 99% of the people I know will recommend the same: simply do it better than him. Don't waste your resources and time on sabotage war. Diversify and expand your network. If your business was something legit you would have some extra tools, but since you are on the warez industry, you are simply playing the churn and burn strategy. Feel lucky if your site has been working for more than 2 years. Generally, this sites down last long unless they are private or underdogs.
