Please Help - Simple Wordpress Site

Hey guys I have a few questions with a wordpress site I am making. I need the home page and gallery page to have a different layout than my other pages. The gallery page just needs to take off the sidebars but the home page needs to be totally different. I'm stuck and don't know where to start. I need to finish this site by April 3. If anyone has any experience with custom wordpress sites or anything like this please PM me or post below.

What are you using/doing to edit this site?

I was just going to do it through the back end of wordpress, but I don't know exactly how to do what i have in mind. Do you have a skype I can talk to you on?
