Don?t want to tell the keyword but I need your help so I will give an example in order that you can tell me if its worth it.

Lets assume the keywords are ?prepaid phone?.

So none of the top 10 pages in google have ?prepaid phone ? in their domain.
Page numer 1,2 and 4 make a comparison between the different prepaid phones rates. But none of these websites are specialist in it. They also make other comparisons.
Page numer 3 , 5, 6, 7, 9 are call companies that give informations about their rates.
Pge number 10 offers a commercial finances prepaid phone.

Page number 9 is a specialist wiki website. Lets say prepaid - wiki. com

Which one is better?

You need to full brief of what is really going with these keywords.
So first of all go to ahrefs.com and look for their backlink datas.
Or If you want to go deeply, you may want to look for serpiq.com which is really giving satisfying results.

Both are pretty decent keywords, may I ask why you only want to choose one keyword instead of targeting both?

I would say go for both, sometimes the one that you consider more difficult could be easier to rank.

I don't really know what your goal is but like everyone here says you can simply settle for both keywords.

It's not a crime to have short and long term plan for your keywords.

Pick the long tail ones or rather the keywords that are easier to rank and begin with them before moving to the competitive ones which at that time you should have started making money.

I don't understand your keyword analysis above but if you want to know a good keyword it begins with:

Good monthly search - 8000+ is great for a start.
The authority of the domains on the top 10. I usually don't care about the others because am only competing for the first page of Google.
Domain age
Number of quality backlink, here i recommend your get SEOSpyGlass.

So i will go for both. I never had a niche website, so i was not sure if it would be at all possible to break the top 10 of google with the keywords. Thats why i attached the Long tail pro data, in order that you can give me your expert opinion, because i did not want to start to work on it without having the chance to be ranked at the top 10. As you said i will start with the easier one, which i think is the second right?
