Please Help Me to Identify the Tool or Service My Competitor is Using

I have a competitor who is killing it with forum links. Over 90% of his backlink profile is made up of forum links, and the links don't appear to be manually placed. It seems he is using some kind of a tool or service to automate the process. I just need help identifying the tool or service he might be using. It wouldn't be fair to post the URL here.
