Please, help me!!! My site is redirect to another site automaticaly!

@rehan08 - To determine for sure if it has anything to do with your wp, you need to bypass it completely.

I tried including filenames in the url and this is what i got
superflashgame.com/readme.html loaded the correct file.
superflashgame.com/license.txt loaded the correct file.
superflashgame.com/RANDOM loaded the 404 page.
superflashgame.com/2011/09/ loaded the 09/2011 archive page.
but
superflashgame.com/index.php redirected
superflashgame.com/index.html redirected

If it was a server configuration redirect of superflashgame.com then it should have either redirected all of those urls or none of them depending on how it was set up.

To verify that it really is a wp problem (which I'm sure it is) you can do the following test.

Rename your index.php and index.html files (to something like bu-index.php and html). Then create a new index.html file (it can just be a blank file or put just some basic html in it with a message like "please check back later).

Then try visiting the site again. If your new html page loads fine then the problem is in your wp php files. If you still get the redirect then the problem has something to do with your server configuration.

Once you do that you will absolutely know if its a wp problem so you can concentrate on that and not any server configuration problems others have mentioned. Or if you still have the problem with the test index.html file then you know it isn't wp and you can focus on server and domain configuration issues.

My guess is that the redirect will go away once you bypass wp. I'm pretty sure at this point that its a wp exploit that your dealing with.

Once you know for sure it's in your wp files you can follow the instructions cicsmayhem just posted to troubleshoot your wp installation.

Like I said in my post.....................I completely bypassed WordPress and the site still redirects. There is no index.html file but it loads fine for me (404) whether I create on or not.

Just to make sure, I also renamed every subfolder he had on his root. Still redirects.

Here's a nifty bit of info...I just totally emptied his wp-config.php file and yet all his inner pages still work fine? How the hell does that happen?

So if you create a new index.html file and then type in superflashgame.com/index.html it still takes you to the 404 page?

That's weird, you shouldn't be getting a file not found error for a file that does exists.

I know you said the only thing in the .htaccess is the lines for wp permalinks, but have you tried eliminating it completely? Maybe this is still within wp and somehow using the permalink structure to cause problems.

Try renaming the .htaccess and index.php, then create the static index.html file and try going to superflashgame.com/index.html again.

Also have you already checked if there's another file in the root that takes precedence over index.php when you only type superflashgame.com (such as default.asp, default.html, default.htm, default.aspx, default.php, default.shtml, default.shtm). I don't think that's what's going on here, but worth asking.

Refer to my earlier post: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/3240373-post35.html

I have even tried putting random garbage into the .htaccess, but it didn't even throw a 500 error. It's like the server doesn't care about the .htaccess. I even accidentally erased the .htaccess earlier (since been replaced), but his permalink structure still work.

There are no other conflicting files. I have checked the home directory (up one from public_html) to see if there are any suspicious files, but there is nothing...

Plus checked a few of the database tables to see if there was any reference to the redirect site, but didn't find anything. I could run queries on all the tables to see if there is anything referencing the external URL, but I doubt there will be...

Well it actually sounds like you've narrowed it down to exclude wp. This sounds like a server problem.

To do one last thing to verify that would be backup his website and database then delete everything. Create a single static index.html file and then see what happens from there. It should be easier to work on from that point because you'll have absolutely eliminated any troubleshooting that needs to account for what wp is supposed to be doing.

If at that point the problem actually does go away, which would mean it is a wp problem, then that means something is making wp run from files in a different folder than the webroot.

Well it actually looks like this is a problem with the host account. Unless you have whm or master root access then you'll need to contact your host to have them check out the settings for your hosted account.

Your site is hacked and on clicking the link I was redirected to a blog of some sort which had a 0 PR. Check the code of redirection in header, or index page.

Reading this thread to see what things to do or avoid if I did not know them already. To be honest I do not know enough to help him. But just had to comment on the help that artizhay & greywolf gave this guy, well and others as well. It is refreshing to see people helping others just to help.

If you read through the thread you'll see that what you suggested is the first thing that was tried. Even making a new index.html and blanking out the index.php and .htaccess doesn't eliminate the problem.

Well that's what this forum is about. It's actually what makes it different than most other marketing forums. There are people here selling services, but that isn't the focus of the forum. This is a place for marketers to actually help each other out and all of us try to expand out knowledge.

Having said that, I notice that rehan08 site is still having problems. It's no longer being redirected to the rogue blogger page, but it now it's going to a default error page from the host.

@rehan08 - this problem has really been going on too long. Having your site down this long will have a negative effect on whatever seo you've done for your site.

Even if you type a complete url including the filename that exists in your public root it isn't loading.

If they're still saying it's a problem with a redirection at your registrar, I don't see how that could be. When I ping your domain it comes back with the IP of your hosts nameservers. You could double check that you have the right nameservers set up at your registar anyway, but I doubt that's the problem. It seems to be something totally to do with your host configuration.

If you're host is not responding to your service ticket (or is responding but still can't get your site configuration working again), you should really consider backing up your database and website files, finding a new host and reloading your website there.

If they want to keep you as a customer then they need to get your domain working again, if they can solve it no other way then they should backup your database and website (or have you do that), delete and recreate you account, and then reload your website (or have you do that part too.) If they can't solve the problem, and aren't willing to reset your server space then you need to find a better host.

@ OP,

Your site is still down so I did a whois, and then checked your hosting company in G -- it has a really bad reputation... almost non-existent service and during the last year the host, a reseller, had difficulty refunding some customers -- this was about 2-3 months after your site was created. Lots of people called the service a crap...

From the G index, your site seems to be a good site so get it on a good host, and not on a host with non-existent service. With non-existent / low-quality service, the entire server/s is/are wide open to hackers... the problems too shall come back again and again in future.

I also don't think your web host has the capability to hunt down the problem areas or even has any solutions regarding overall security.

hmm...i think the best option would be creating a backup then move your website to another web host.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. :cool2:

Based on the problems the OP has been having and the support (or lack of it) he's been getting from his host, this is what I would recommend as well. If it were one of my sites I would have already done that by now. The longer his site is unavailable the more chance there is that he'll start losing position in the serps.

Hopefully he'll get something resolved soon. It actually looks like he has a pretty decent site, he just needs to get it working again soon. :pirate:

Agree with GreyWolf fully. I had also read that OP's web host had openly invited, out of turn, some member on another forum who wanted to host warez site/s!!! WOW, your host is such a hugely generous host to people who would destroy servers, dirty the neighborhood, and sink other members' sites so easily.

Get away as soon as possible from that host.:)

is there a redirect created in cpanel for particular pages in Domains >> Redirects

From what I read it sounds like there is an htaccess redirect in the root folder or any higher level folder on your server/host.

What... he got hack? No..

It's a server ip problem guys.. I have that kind of server problem last 4 months.. Don't do anything in your wordpress files, just contact your host to correct that issue!

Did this get resolved?

Was it redirecting to one of the sites that share the same IP? i.e.

Code:
http://whois.webhosting.info/68.168.213.170

in which case it's a DNS/Apache config issue with the host.

probably the server allows rootkit account switching, for instance i buy hosting on a shared server, i upload shell and i can gain acces to all the shared accounts on the server, ask your hosting provider to fix it or ask for refund
