So i am trying to sell some items in ebay. Right now Vertu replica phones . I asked live support they told me no problem selling replicas as long as you advertised it as it is . So please look this 260487952728 (the item number) . They stoped allready 2-3 auctions like this . And i can not understand why. They say cause i have used brand name in the title. But i see many many auctions about vertu phones which are clearly replicas no one even mentions it anywhere on their listing but they still don`t have problems with their auctions. I am really confused can someone help me ?

Best regards,
Ivan Kurtlakov

Competition may be reporting you.

Report them back and see what happens.

This way i won`t get my auctions listed again and thats the whole point.. Someone else ? :)

Switch to another phone to promote. There are plenty of "Clone" Phones to choose from !!!

The thing is it is just that; a replica.
It may well be the company themselves reporting you. It's happened to me with many items, many times. Fact is if it displays their logo, and you say its a replica, it's illegal.

The only way you can *hope* to get away with it is not listing it as a replica, though that's moving more to the blacker part of blackhat.

the things that i know about replica,
they all prohibited by ebay...
i dunno about that customer service telling you, it's okay to list it
but many people being removed after listing it

the word "Replica" instantly raises a red flag to eBays system. Support may have told you it was alright to list on eBay as a way to collect more information on you. Like someone else said, other uses may be reporting you. Many sellers, especially in the Electronics category, report their competition to eBay's automated system. In fact, you'll see a couple job posts on oDesk looking to outsource for people to report their competition and claim their competitors items are fake or replica's... even if they aren't.

agreed with e bay mafia - its 90 percent the competition reporting you.
