Hi,

I have started a google ads campaign for my ecommerce store. My google adwords page looks significantly different than the ones on the videos that I have watched. I basically do not have an audience, keyword, or demographic section. I was also not prompted to post a sample site to get keyword ideas. I did not get to choose income level, gender etc. This is driving me CRAZY!

Someone please help!

Thank you!

Thread moved.

Google adwords updated their whole layout sometimes during last year (or very recently, at least).
Most videos on youtube show the old layout.

BUT the new layout definitely has all the bits and pieces the old one had.
To be able to better assist you, attach a screenshot of what you see (block out all confidential info ofcourse). Because it seems you just might be in the wrong place / it might be a navigation issue.

Ill attatch a pic of my screen and what im looking at in videos

What happens when you click on a campaign and look at the ad group or ads? Do the options appear on the sidebar then?

Hey John, it happens if your first campaign has been created in Adwords Express. When you go to the general interface your Express campaigns has magician icon (it's called Smart campaign on your screen). That's why you have limited options for targeting. Just create a new campaign in Google Ads.

Thank you very much!

Thanks to everyone for the help! Much appreciated
