Please help -- getting started -- ad networks

Hi guys,

Just found myself interested in affiliate marketing couple of months ago, did some research and am basically ready to go. Nothing special, just would like to do simple tests using affiliates links, fine tune my marketing etc. For starters -- using simple and short YT videos with my affiliate links located in the description.

All is fine, but... First, I NEED to be accepted to ad networks, but in reality I do not even have a website of any kind.

How should I proceed? Hire someone to make a basic website, so I can establish my presence on which I should be accepted or what?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Setup a basic website or blog that talks about affiliate marketing. Also, it's a good idea so have a phone number, maybe get a google voice number so you can answer when various networks call you to discuss your application. Be ready to explain some basic methods on how you will drive traffic to their offers. Maybe PPC, Search, Social etc.

If I were you, I would dedicate my first efforts to learn how to build websites.
If you are entering the IM world, you will (eventually) need to build a lot of websites in your endeavour
Pick a cheap hosting (hostgator costs 1 cent for the first month) and install wordpress by using the Fantastico Installer.
Then go for plugins, widget, social connecting and all that stuff.
