I am planning to posting 8-10 minutes long videos about science/space/history. I just find online images copy right free and add subtitles. I'm not showing my face and planning to use AI voice from elevenlabs. Is it enough to get monetized?
I wanna put videos as well but I just can't find related copy right free videos. Is there an AI that I can use for images and videos? Right now it takes around 2 hours to make a 10 min long video. So effortless, so I'm afraid YouTube may not monetize my channel. How to I add value into my videos?

Depends on how robotic the voice over sounds. If you can find an AI voice with natural tone and cadence it should be fine.

It is enough, trust me...there are channels literally using Loquendo in 2024 and they are monetized. And Loquendo is a software to generate voice created in 2001, people in spanish countries are broaden using it and getting monetized...ElevenLabs is more than enough

You can monetize the channel all depends the approach you give it and quality of the ccontent focus on quality and peoplpe will go by them self to your videos.

I dunno... I was doing the same thing as what you're planning to do.

The only difference is that my niche was relationship stories.

Everything was going great, until 9 nine months in my channel got demonetized for "Repetitive Content", not Reused Content, "Repetitive Content" - whatever that means.

Anyway, I guess you could pull it off if you post a variety of topics.

As far as video, you could probably edit movie clips, documentary clips, memes, etc... so long as you keep them short and add variety.
I did that with my videos and never got a copyright claim.

In my opinion, if you want your videos to be known by many people, you must have useful videos to attract people to find it.

What was your YT channel? Are videos still up?

Nope, I took all my videos down.

I had around 100+ but decided to take them all down after a few months in order to upload new one and reapply for monetization.

So you are currently trying to reapply for monetization.. So it worths the effort? I just graduated from university and unemployed for the moment. I live in a 3rd world country where wages are around 400-600 USD. I was considering that giving a try to YouTube would be a better idea than working at stupidly low paying jobs.

I uploaded a few new videos at the beginning of the year, but they haven't gotten enough viewing time for me to reapply for monetization.

I would say that YT is definitely worth the effort.

I have other ideas for YT channels, but currently I'm too lazy to start.

Wish you the best on your journey my friend.
