    hello,

I signed up to a VPS with hostwinds yesterday and I am in the process of moving my blogger blog with its own domain name to this new WP site. It's been quite stressful so far because of my lack of know how. Luckily hostwinds have been helpful though.

I have so many questions but one that is bugging me is, will i be able to move my adsense account to my WP blog? I presumed wrongly I think that adsense will just accept it because I am using the same domain name and content as my old blog, it's basically going to be a duplicate blog.

Then I need to know whether to delete my old blog once my new one is up and running. After all 95% of my traffic is from my YouTube channel and harldly any is organic traffic from search engines, so surely I won't be missing out much? Any advice would be welcomed.

    thanks

You don't need to move your adsense account and no, don't delete your blog, just do a 301 redirect using simple methods.

If it's the same domain, adsense should still work just fine. Personally I'd delete the old blog, if it has no SEO Value. Unnecessary duplicate content is unnecessary.

Thanks guys. Yes it has hardly any organic traffic. That said its only relatively new. A 301 redirect may be worth it, but only if its more advantageous than having a duplicate content. Although I will be removing the actual content from my old blog pics videos etc... So i suppose it wont be duplicate at all.

Also, once the wp site is set up and i transfer my domain to it. I presume there is a plug in for adsense ads?

    Thanks

Thank you, that's one of the reasons i moved from blogger is for the plugins. There is so many options. Plus the content will be hosted on my own VPS therefore it's mine.
