One change I’m noticing is that brands are focusing more on building brand visibility across search rather than relying only on exact match keywords. even with traditional blue link results, anchor text still matters, but I’m seeing more brands use their brand name and natural variations instead of constantly pushing exact match keywords. I think this fits with the wider shift toward stronger brand signals in search

It was all about GEO and AI overview at the moment tbh. everyone is making a pivot to getting cited in Perplexity, Chatgpt and Google AI answers rather than blue links alone.
