Please estimate site's earnings

I know you are not supposed to give away people's niches on this forum but how much would a site ranking #1 for cough cough cheap flights or cough cough cheap hotels make per month? I don't think I am giving away people's niches because as I understand it, these keywords are very popular and all the SEOs already watch them anyway. how come the PPC cost for these keywords is so low, like $2? I thought these are highly profitable keywords that everybody is going after?

You're not going to get an exact answer for how much it could make simply because it all depends on how you monetize it.
