"My son's grade 9 band class is fundraising to go to a very special band workshop at Disneyland in the spring. Every student needs to come up with $2000. As he is only 13, none of the stores/fast food joints will hire him. Believe me, he's tried. Resume after resume. He is a serious straight-A student and is very hard working. Thank you to those who have already donated!! He managed to raise the $200 trip deposit. At this time he is continuing to collect bottles if anyone has some they'd like to donate. We will gladly come pick them up. He still have $1800 to go. Every little bit helps!" I found this on my local city Facebook community page. So far there have been 4 people who asked for her email so they can send the money, and then quite a few others who are willing to give this woman free bottles. If this was posted on lots of Facebook city community pages, pages such as: Canada, Vancouver Everything Goes, Vancouver Buy And Sell, Vancouver Community Page, etc. or any other city for that matter. If the Facebook user seems to have real and legitimate profile pictures, friends, comments, likes, and activity, then other users will see that and then the user posting this will gain trust with his/her post. People will want to donate because they'll think they're doing a good thing that will make them a good person by donating to some spoiled kid to go to disneyland rather than a family in Africa that needs food, water, and shelter. Anyways, this is an easy way to get tons of PayPal customers, probably near $10-$100+ per donation! What do you guys think about this? I personally am not going to use it because to me it rather seems scummy, I'd rather affiliate marketing, niche marketing, and PPC marketing.
