having problem importing backup

I also faced the same issue. If you've access to the server root, you can perform the backup easily.

its for my wordpress site
I'm trying to upload a backup into a new site

I know. You're using All-in-One WP Migration right? I also encountered the same issue. If you know the Linux basics, you can migrate the site easily by running a few simple commands.

Consider using Duplicator wordpress plugin (free or paid version- both works) for the site migration.

Is clearly the backup file has an issue.
