sorry, just in case i post this in the wrong section, could not find any pertaining to my question.
My problem is this, i used to work on ebay, but kept having account problems due to location and could not receive by paypal. So to go around this, i am thinking on opening an online acount, say a UK based one (i have no problem going to the Uk, just i don't stay there most of the year). With the online account , i believe i can easily recieve funds into my account, without the usual paypal issues. Do you think this is a good idea? Anyone had success with this method? And are there particular online banks which you know are reliable? If there is a better way than mine, i am willing to learn.

I maybe wrong but I think you have to prove UK residency to have "proper" uk bank account.

even for the online account?, any country where i can get an online account without those hassles?

An online account still requires the same documentation as any offline bank account.

or the best way to go around this?
