Please Advice: VPN for Ebay/Paypal

the "easiest way" to make you private proxy with Linux vps is creating a tunnel through SSh.
you can use Bitvise Tunnelier.

Start the program and enter the Host/IP, Port, Username and Password.
On tab Service - check Enabled Sock/HTTP enabled, Uncheck enabled FTP to..
Browser network : 127.0.0.1 port 1080 ( default Port ) socks 5 proxy option.
Done , Check You IP.

Just to let you guys know. PP includes proxy and VPN use as a prohibited way of accessing your accounts. When they see footprints of such activity they will hold your funds.

What is the VPN? All i know is proxy to use...

Go for HMA.i'm using it without any problems.You have to clear ur cookies compulsary while swithching accounts as cookies play a major role in detecting stealth accounts
 
Don't use a VPN, use a VPS from the same country as your ebay/paypal account. The VPS has to be windows though.
 
Are there any chances that a VPS too would get detected? If YES, can anyone suggest ways to avoid it?
 
I use a VPS with Strong VPN for amazon when they kick me off and I have been fine. I am hoping to use it for ebay as well.
 
A question, why do all VPS providers ask for domain names as a required field, if all I want to use a VPS is to get mutiple IPs from that location, I don't see how it's "so simple" to get one as many have pointed out here, a VPN with HMA was easier to set up, this VPS thing is a head fk...
 
how? I just want an IP to show I am in Thailand so I can log into my thai PP account and not get banned.. now I am using just a VPN, I don't get this VPS thing, all the ones I looked at don't make any sense, I already have a hosting plan with hostgator, though I doubt they can get me a thai IP address. can anyone help please?
 
I used to use : https://www.witopia.net back to 2009 with multiple windows PP/eBay accounts in one laptop without any problem.
i switched then to logmein with the help of one of of my friend in US when i was visiting my country (EU) using sprint boarding model (#IPs when you switch on/off) but i think you can use teamviewer (it is free to access a laptop to your target country).
I used to keep cookies and flash cookies intact in each of windows users account in order to not trigger any alarm. you need to verify all the accounts (PP + eBay) before start selling.

i suggest you to use RDP, if you just using for 1 or 2 pp account..

So VPS is safe right? Does PP identify proxy and VPN connections based on IPs coming from commercially available services?
 
I use Strong VPN, it's amazing, I use it for my stealth PP account so it's not linked to my normal one! You need the service that provides a static ip and not a dynamic one as that'll get you a permanent limitation.
 
Hi, thanks for the information, what do you recommend to start with , VPS server on linux or Windows for setting up a dedicated VPN server . this is only to be used by me so i can access ebay and paypal. i live in jordan now , but my billing can be in canada , USA or UK . can you advice :)
 
The easiest way is going to be like suggested above: get Windows VPS and use Remote Desktop -- no VPN.

Windows VPS costs more than Linux VPS because 1) the technology is different (it uses more resources) and 2) the provider needs to pay for the Windows license, where Linux is free.

So there you have your options: 1) Get VPN service and risk the chance that other users are on there and cause problems or they detect it is shared VPN service somehow 2) Get Windows VPS, costs more per month but very easy to use Remote Desktop 3) Get Linux VPS, harder to setup VPN but costs less per month.
 
Can I get the Linux VPS (for cheap), then use VirtualBox or VMware to install Windows and run it that way?

The Linux VPS much cheaper than Windows VPS.
