I tested and yes, it is for free (forever) but it is really hard to configure but not impossible. If you are moderately smart, then you could install it in an hour.

So, I agree with @serveria. At this pace, we will have free VPS everywhere and in the near future, vps will pay to you.

The catch is you have to link a valid CC to activate the account. I talked to Jacqueline from their customer support and she don't even know about Christmas.
