hi, is it possible to add few more functions when using search? .. for example: sort by the date.

have to admit that at the moment I'm using google search instead, something like this: site:blackhatworld.com keyword 2016

screenshot of existing almost useless search results:

You can use Google search better too, just search for the keyword, so "site:blackhaworld.com yourkeyword" or in thread title: "site:blackhatworld.com intitle:yourkeyword", then go to Search tools and click on "Any time", you can use those predefined settings or you can set a custom range.

I'm reviving this thread just because the number of times I've had to search twice because relevance is the default over recent search date is beyond me.

Stuff changes all the time, methods and whatnot. I can't imagine it's more useful to search for relevance than recency for 90% of searches.
