Hi there! first post here after presentation.
These are my first months with SEO stuff.
I am working with a domain that recently was migrated to another one by 301 redirecting all the urls (via htaccess)
So all the urls from A . com were 301 redirectec to B . com and everything seems to be working OK. New urls are being indexed, etc.
The current problem is about external linking. Ahref's Domain Rating was over 45 and now it's only 15.
I thought Ahrefs was able to track and reffer the 301 redirects so my new domain would have the same links that the old one. But it has been 2 months since the migration and DR is stuck at 15. Is that the way Ahrefs work?
And what about Google itself? Is it seeing and "validating" the links ?
Can't think about contact 500 domains to reclaim the new link path...
