Does anyone still remember that old gem? And whenever you fire it up you are greeted with that nostalgic sound and that old menu. If so, What kind of games did you have for your PlayStation 2? OR Do you even still have it?

Used to have PS1 which was my favourite. FFVII was my all time favourite game.
 
I still have my PlayStation 2, although it's just collecting dust as I don't play games much these days.

Here are a few of my favourite games on that console, most of which I still have:
  1. Simpsons: Hit & Run
  2. Silent Hill 2
  3. Silent Hill 3
  4. Silent Hill: Origins
  5. Final Fantasy X
  6. Bully
  7. Devil May Cry 1
  8. Devil May Cry 2
  9. Devil May Cry 3
  10. Kingdom Hearts
  11. Kingdom Heart 2
  12. Max Payne
  13. Max Payne 2
  14. Gran Turismo 4
 
Remember the PS1 more fondly. Playing Ridge Racer at motorway services and then getting home and its exactly the same on a home console was quite something at the time. That PS2 start up was very impressive first time you turned it on. The Amiga beats them all though :)
 
have my original ps1 bought in 1997 is chipped to play copies , still have
have my ps2 slim 2004 - ps3 slim 2009 - and a ps4 slim .
playing witcher 3 blood and whine as we speak
 
NFS, vice city, PES and Call of duty when it comes to PS2 .. but hey you made me laugh right now when I recalled PS1 .. Winning Eleven 3 on PS1 the football game .. It was hilarious how the players looked like and how they run over the ground like ants .. every shooting towards the goal keeper scored a goal! .. what a Game!! :D
 
Had a few but I kept playing the same game over and over.! Tekken! Ah good times :)
 
I used mine until 2013 i used it for storing movies and crap before i finally ditched it for netflix n hulu.
 
I had 2 harddrives in my Ps2 to pirate games :S One internal hdd and one USB. Was fun to play SNES games on ps2 :P
 
PS2 was the first console I got when I was 5 years old.. There was so much choice for games, really good memories. The first game I played was Ratchet and Clank.. Had an obsession with the Samurai/Dynasty Warriors games too
 
Rachet and clank was my ish! man.. why can't we all go back before microtransactions and pay to win shit :(
 
I love uncharted series unforutantley, not on PS2 but PS3 should be fine for 1-3 of uncharted ;)
 
Playing T.H.U.G and SOCOM online, the early early days of online console gaming that wasn't terrible is what i'll always remember ps2 for. Also using that same network adapter for a harddrive and a shit load of pirated games. I bet gamefly was like o_O at me receiving and sending back games the same day for months straight lol.
 
A lot of old PS2 games are available on PS4 now, FYI guys. Some even "remastered."
