So over the last few weeks or so we have seen so many posts on the forums about people getting banned. Ban waves for links in accounts.

I think it could be time to just lay low for a while. Turn off FL for a few weeks and see where the tide is taking us.

IF you work hard for your account why risk it?

Instagram is changing with all the new updates and new functionality which is going to be added with adds, its like a mine field out there. One wrong move can mean starting all over again....

What does the community think? Is this the smart move or just over cautious.

IG is very strict nowaday. They want to remove links spam out of their site.

It was only a matter of time before they became stricter. We are to expect more "sponsored" content to take precedence over natural posts. FB purchased IG to monetize its user with ad revenue.

If you have low setting you will be okay, now if your over doing it you will get banned I only run my bot for 12 hours a day.

Laying low isn't going to help since IG is constantly fighting spammers. Keep at it and play it safe.

If you have extra proxies laying around why don't you create new accounts and test IG limits? Doing this will let you know what type of accounts that IG bans.

I just hate being unproductive especially when you have tools to automate everything on IG.

it's a good idea to rest for a while, though not sure if things will go back to the way they were, IG like any other social network out there is continually trying to counter spam/botters so i think the better idea is to find the new limits and adapt to them as it's doubtful they will revert them back.

Just saying...i completely stopped my bot 3 days ago.
I would rather to be smarter than get caught like a fish

Stopping your bot won't do anything, either continue (maybe with lower settings) or never ever turn it on again.

The things they will ban you for today, they will also ban you for tomorrow, next week, next year.
Pausing your bot won't change how they deal with you when they catch you in the act.
