Even at 1% you will be profitable. You will need more volume but at the same time you will attract more customers. However, it's risky to have a profit margin which is too low as you have to consider potential chargebacks or refunds where your provider won't help you. Also, you must weight in additional costs such as script and servers monthly fee, customer support, marketing and so on.
